The global market for medical devices has been growing year after year, from around 40 trillion yen in 2015 to 53 trillion yen in 2020, and is expected to grow to 68 trillion yen by 2025 and 87 trillion yen by 2030. (Source: KPMG Japan, "Medical Device Industry Outlook 2030") Long-term and stable demand growth can be expected for the manufacture of medical devices due to the problems of aging populations in developed countries, including Japan, growing global health consciousness, and advances in preventive medicine.In addition, "the development and commercialization of superior pharmaceuticals and medical devices originating in Japan" is included in the "Next Generation Healthcare" growth strategy of the Japanese government. This initiative, which aims to strengthen the competitiveness of the pharmaceutical, medical device and regenerative medicine industries and expand their markets, is also a tailwind for medical device manufacturing.

From Tochigi to the world

In the midst of such a tailwind, we are not only proud of our high domestic market share as a biopsy needle manufacturer, but we are also expanding globally in the fields of general and cosmetic needles. Today, our products are shipped to around 150 companies in 30 countries around the world, and our founding desire to help people in need around the world has not changed. Recently, we have been commissioned to develop and manufacture needles for vaccination against new coronavirus infections (COVID-19). These low dead space needles, which reduce the loss of chemicals due to our unique needle base (hub) shape, have also been widely shipped both domestically and internationally.

【International Sales】

Job Description

• You will belong to the sales department and will be mainly in charge of International sales.
• Currently, we have transactions with many overseas companies, and we are undertaking various organizational reforms to further expand our business.


Experience ・Qualification

Mandatory

• Sales Experience
• Excel, Word experience
• Those who can travel domestically and internationally

Desired Skills

• Medical device sales experience
• TOEIC 800 points or more
• Other language skills (Chinese, Korean,etc.)

【Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Compliance with Medical Device Manufacturing Laws and Regulations】

Job Description

・Maintaining and improving the quality management system and ensuring that the quality system is known throughout the company.
・Coordination of the Quality Assurance department with internal departments and relevant external departments as required.


Experience ・Qualification

Mandatory

•A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a quality related role in an ISO 13485 or ISO 9001 certified facility.

Desired Skills

•Ability to read and understand English
•Ability to coordinate smoothly with relevant internal departments and, where necessary, relevant external departments

Job Description

•Routine duties: salary calculation, social insurance, retirement allowance calculation, recruitment, entry/exit procedures, training procedures, etc.
•Atypical duties: review of personnel evaluations, wage revisions, establishment of training systems, establishment, revision and abolition of various regulations, creation of systems to change awareness, etc.

【Legal Affairs】

Job Description

•The successful candidate will be assigned to the General Affairs Section of the Human Resources & General Affairs Department and will be responsible for the following legal duties

(1) General corporate legal affairs

Checking the contents of various contracts, establishing contract templates, establishing contract management regulations, organizing intellectual property information, creating utilization policies, and cooperating with legal counsel regarding various contracts and intellectual property registration.

(2) Planning and implementation of internal systems for compliance and governance (including those related to the Companies Act)

Preparation of compliance-related regulations, internal control regulations and other regulations related to the Companies Act

(3) Other general operations under the control of the General Affairs Division

Management of board of directors` meetings and shareholders’ meetings, maintenance of land and buildings, secretarial services for directors, etc.


Experience ・Qualification

Mandatory

• Experience in corporate legal affairs
Experience in sales contracts, service contracts and intellectual property (including working with legal counsel)
Experience of leading the development of contract rules and the formulation and implementation of IP strategies
Design of systems for compliance and governance (development of rules and regulations)

• Basic PC skills (Word, Excel, Power Point.)
• Negotiation with relevant parties

Desired Skills

• Experience in organizing shareholder meetings and board meetings
• English (ability to deal directly with overseas contracts is a plus)
