The semi-automatic biopsy needle STARCUTⅡ
is used to insert into the human body to collect
soft tissue
for the purpose of examination, treatment, or diagnosis.
Compared to the conventional semi-automatic biopsy needle STARCUT,
it offers improved operability and better tissue collection performance.
A penetration length of 11mm or 22mm can be selected depending on the procedure.
The selected penetration length can also be visually confirmed through the window of the main unit.
Each gauge is equipped with color coding compliant with ISO* standards. The difference between four gauge types can be easily distinguished.

The STARCUTⅡ includes spacer for the guide needle. Spacer can be used to adjust the length of the guide needle to fit the 11mm penetration length.
The semi-automatic biopsy needle is lightweight, weighing approximately 18g (for the 18G x 160mm model), making it easy to handle even in narrow spaces such as those encountered during CT-guided procedures.
We offer a wide range of sizes to suit different biopsy sites. Additionally, the outer needle features depth markers: a single line every 10mm and a double line every 50mm, allowing visual confirmation of the puncture depth.
